"Camp Horizon" is nestled in 160 wooded acres on a bluff overlooking the Arkansas River. Purchased by John Hall in 1945 with the dream of building a youth camp, it now provides for a variety of outdoor and recreational experiences.

Many points of interest draw visitors, in addition to campers, to this area. The North Woods Chapel/South Woods Chapel provide rustic outdoor settings for worship. The Settler's Dugout and Outlaw's Hideout allude to the historic significance of this site. The Cement Factory and Rock Quarry offer climbing and rappelling opportunities for the adventuresome. The Low & High Ropes Courses-"Challenge courses" composed of "low and high elements" (obstacles) provide a fun opportunity to develop learning about group dynamics and trust.

A self-guided tour that extends over half a mile in length is the "Trail of Crosses". It begins or ends at the natural stone walk way leads you to 18-foot cross on "Inspiration Point" which overlooks the beautiful valley below.
